Hello！私の名前は、マイケル・ガリーノです。マイクと呼んでください。カリフォルニア出身で、日本で５年間英会話を教えています。今では熊本は私のホームです。日本人の妻と一歳の娘がいます。ハイキングと自然が好きで、アウトドア派です。故郷も、山に囲まれていたので、阿蘇が特に好きです。雨の日は読書をするので、おすすめの本があったら教えてください！

Hello, everyone! My name is Michael Guarino, but please call me Mike. I’m from California and have been living and teaching English in Japan for over 5 years. Kumamoto is home to me now. In fact, I’ve started a family here. Perhaps someday you can meet my baby girl. 

I enjoy spending time outdoors. I love hiking and admiring nature. My hometown is in the mountains, so I especially like Aso.

On rainy days, I enjoy reading. Please recommend your favorite books!

私のクラスでは、自由気ままに話してください。英会話を学ぶことは、むずかしくストレスを感じるかもしれませんが、皆さんが自信をもって英会話ができるようになることを願っています。気軽になんでも訊いてください。

In my class, we can speak freely and comfortably. Learning a new language can be difficult and stressful, but I hope that my students feel confident speaking English. When you talk with me, there are no bad questions or answers.
